Let’s be honest the last thing any of us wants to do is run around the house on Monday night folding laundry, cooking dinner and rotating in on Connect Four. I will be completely honest when I say I just wanted to veg out and watch reality TV and decompress from my busy day at work. However; everything got done and we had fun as a family.
Do you have any games lying around the house?
Why not pull one out and play a few rounds… even if that means getting up in between losing to fold laundry, cook dinner and do dishes? Yes, it was busy but at the end of the night I felt amazing and it was just what our family needed after a busy weekend.
Take time to play and interact as a family. It does NOT have to be a chore or chaos. Relax and have fun! I promise you will glad afterwards… especially when your head hits the pillow and your heart is happy!
